Each order is carefully packed with the right amount of dry ice to maintain the desired temperature inside the package based on the quantity of products in your order and the time expected to your destination. Fun Fact: the temperature inside that box is about negative 110 degrees F which is colder than your freezer by 100 degrees.

You can order as few as a 2-pack or up to 6 pizzas—and you still pay the same flat-rate per delivery. Orders with more than 8 pizzas will incur a secondary shipping charge to cover the cost of shipping more than 1 container.


Frozen goods arrive 1 to 3 days after being shipped, depending on the shipping destination. Frozen goods will only be shipped on Monday through Wednesday to maintain the necessary temperature on delivery. Our frozen shipments can’t be in transit over the weekend, so orders received later in the week may need to be held for shipping out the following Monday. We do not ship across weekends because shipping time extends past the effectiveness of dry ice.

 

All orders will reach their destination within 1-3 days of shipping. Please remember that we only fulfill on Monday - Wednesday, so take that into consideration when making your plans for enjoying your pizza.

Your shipping destination, shipping method, and day and time of checkout will impact when we ship your order and when it will get delivered.

Once we fulfill your order we will send you a tracking number so you know exactly when to expect it on your doorstep.

Here are some examples

  • All orders placed before 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday, or Wednesday ship the same day.
  • Orders placed after 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday and prior to 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Saturday will not ship until Monday.
  • Orders placed after 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Saturday and prior to 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday will ship on Tuesday.
  • We don’t ship on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.
  • We cannot ship to PO boxes.

Definitely! Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your UPS tracking number and a link to track it. All orders will deliver in 1-3 days after being shipped.

We ship to all 50 United States and the District of Columbia, via UPS.

We do not ship internationally at this time, sorry.

Yes, our smallest frozen product is a 2-pack. But, remember, with our flat rate shipping you can order as much as you like and pay the same price to ship whether it’s a 2-pack, 4-pack, or 8-pack. Orders with more than 8 pizzas will incur a secondary shipping charge to cover the cost of shipping more than 1 container. Just keep in mind your freezer space limitations as these pizzas must be kept frozen until just before baking. Our dry goods have no minimum order.

UPS is authorized to leave all packages at the destination without signature which will ensure that your pizza will not thaw due to multiple delivery attempts.

We do recommend opening the package immediately upon arrival and getting it into a freezer as soon as possible and within the same day it arrives.

While dry ice does not cause any toxic side effects to the food products you receive, it can be harmful in other ways.

Please be sure to be extra careful when removing the dry ice and frozen goods from your delivery as dry ice is extremely cold and can cause severe frostbite if it comes in contact with bare skin. It is harmful if eaten or swallowed. Be sure to keep the dry ice out of reach of children and animals, and don't place it on any tiled or solid surfaces (like in a sink), as it can cause severe damage. If ingested or if frostbite occurs, seek medical treatment immediately. Please also be cautious to allow the dry ice to dissipate in a well-ventilated area - this is because solid dry ice will convert to a carbon dioxide gas. Do not breathe the carbon dioxide gas deeply or for an extended period of time.

Please handle dry ice with extreme care! Do not touch dry ice with your bare hands. Prior to disposing of your delivery materials, please allow any remaining dry ice to fully dissipate. Within 24 hours the solid dry ice will convert to a gas.

Always wear hand protection: an oven mitt or heavy cloth towel will work. Using a towel or mitt to protect your hands, take the wrapped dry ice out of the shipping container. Do not put dry ice directly on tiles or solid surface countertop as the extreme cold of the dry ice may cause the surface to crack. Once you have removed your frozen pizzas, place the dry ice back in the insulated bag and move it to a well-ventilated area away from children or animals until any remaining ice has disappeared. Do not breathe the carbon dioxide gas deeply or for an extended period of time.

In order to dispose of your other delivery materials, cut or rip open the insulation to separate the plastic liner from the recycled material inside. The lining can be recycled as #4 plastic. The filling made from recycled denim can be composted or will decompose naturally within a year if placed in the trash. Simply break down the cardboard box and drop it in paper recycling.

You can, but, please make sure that you check that the recipient will be in town on the day it will arrive. No one likes coming home to a box of mushy, no good pizza on their front porch! We’d recommend a gift card instead so your gift recipient can control when they will receive the gift.

All sales are final. If your pizza doesn’t arrive perfectly frozen, we’ll reship the order at our cost. We are unable to accept returns on our perishable goods, so please do not send your purchase back to us.

We want you to be completely satisfied with the quality of Etalia pizzas. If you receive frozen products that are thawed or materially damaged or have other substantive problems, we will replace your products free of charge. To request a replacement, please contact us at hello@etaliafoods.com with details within 7 days of receipt of products.

To help us with our quality control processes we would greatly appreciate it if you can send a picture of the problem via email. This is not required, but will help us in dealing with packaging or shipping issues.
